NVIDIA DLSS 5 is AI slop.
Commentary
Ah yes, the 'brooding man on an Iron Throne knockoff' package. The face has that telltale AI smoothness — pores that exist in concept but not in practice, skin that reflects light like it's been laminated. The hair manages to look simultaneously detailed and wrong, with strands that don't quite commit to a direction and that suspicious smear where the left side meets the ear. The clothing is where the algorithm really phoned it in. That bow tie is doing something topologically impossible — it's somehow tied over a shirt collar that doesn't have a proper button placket, just a vague suggestion of where buttons should be. The jacket lapels are two different widths and textures, and the collar on the right side appears to be gently merging with his neck like a textile parasite. The background is the classic 'I asked for throne, got abstract metal spikes' treatment. Those shapes behind him follow no consistent perspective or material logic — they're simultaneously sharp and soft, metallic and matte, present and dissolving into the void.
🔍 The Tell
The shirt collar has no buttonholes, no buttons, and no consistent structure — just a tan-colored surrender to the concept of 'collar.'
